Sonic's Birthday Vacation

It was a nice and sunny afternoon in Mobius, and on this picture perfect day, Sonic was taking one of his daily runs around the neighbor hood and across Station Square, as he runs, he knows that his birthday is coming real soon, and he always wonders what that day will bring, usually his little brother Tails would give him the best gifts, as he does care so much for his big brother and his best friend, "I cannot wait for my birthday, I know Tails has something planned, he always gives a great gift to me every year", Sonic thought as he ran, "I bet I'll be in for a surprise this year", Sonic thought as he had arrived at Station Square, "Hmm, you know, a quick bite wouldn't hurt", Sonic thought as he headed to one of the hot dog stands to get him a chilidog or two.

Later that evening, Sonic was back in his home as we watched some TV while sitting on the couch and relaxed with arms behind his head, as he watched TV and relaxed, his cat Star was napping on Sonic's lap and purred happily as Sonic smiled once he saw him napping, Sonic then closed his eyes and enjoyed the relaxation, but then, after a bit, a knock was heard as that made Sonic open his eyes and headed to the door and answered it to see it was his little brother Tails, "Oh hey little bro, come in", Sonic said as Tails came in, "I was just thinking about you buddy", Sonic said as Tails looked at him, "really, why's that?", Tails asked as he and Sonic sat on the couch, "Well, my birthday is coming next week, and I know you always give something awesome every year", Sonic replied as Tails nodded, "That's true, I care for my big brother", Tails said as Sonic smiled, "Speaking of which, I do have something to give you, I would wait til later, but it's better if I give you this now", Tails said as Sonic got excited, "Well, I wonder what it could be?", Sonic asked as Tails then got something out which was a plane ticket, "What's this little bro?", Sonic asked as Tails smiled, "Well, you've been saving everybody for years, so I figured I'd book you a vacation in a resort in Spagonia for the whole week", Tails said as Sonic looked surprised, "Aw, no way Tails, that's amazing!", Sonic said excidedly as Tails smiled, "I knew you'd like it, I got you a nice hotel room, with a great view, and a perfect place for you relax and chill", Tails said as Sonic hugged his little brother, "Thanks little bro, that was very nice of you to do this for me", Sonic said as Tails hugged him back, "Anything for you big brother", Tails said as Sonic then looked at the ticket then looked back at Tails as he had an idea, "But I do have one favor to ask", Sonic said as Tails looked at him, "I want you to tag along with me", Sonic said as that made Tails surprised, "Really, you want me to come with you?", Tails asked as Sonic nodded, "But Sonic, I got that all for you for your birthday", Tails continued as Sonic place his hand on his shoulder, "I know, but I think you also deserve a vacation as well, you and I have been through so much adventures, we need some time off", Sonic said as Tails looked at his big brother, "Besides, I'd rather spend my vacation and my birthday with my little bro", Sonic continued as Tails smiled, "Well ok, I can't argue with that", Tails said with a chuckle as Sonic smiled, "Then it's settled, you and I will go to Spagonia next week" Sonic said as Tails smiled, "By the way, when do we leave?", Sonic asked as Tails smiled and replied, "We leave Sunday morning, I got first class for you...", "You mean us", Sonic interrupted as Tails giggled, "Right, right, I got "us" first class seats and we'll head to the Sapgonia Hotel and head to our nice hotel room, and we stay til next Sunday and head back home", Tails said as Sonic smiled, "Alright, I'll get you to join and then we'll be ready for our vacation", Sonic said as Tails smiled as they then hugged each other closely.

2 days passed as it was early Sunday morning as Sonic was up bright and early as he took himself a warm shower before going on vacation with his little brother, after a bit, he then got out of the bathroom as his shoes, socks and gloves was off as he then done some quick morning stretches and exercises before he had some breakfast, then after a while, had finished packing his things in a suitcase as he was putting on his gloves, socks and shoes on as he was ready for the vacation, "Alright, I'm all ready, now to see if Tails is ready", Sonic said as he headed out to Tails' place.

Meanwhile at Tails' house, Tails was just finishing up packing his suitcase as he hummed a tune, "I can't believe that Sonic actually wanted me to go to his birthday vacation with him, he didn't have to do that", Tails thought as he was finishing up packing, "But if he wants me to tag along, I'll do so, besides he does have a point, it would be nice if we both have a vacation together", Tails continued as he then was finished packing, "There we go, all done", Tails said as he then grabbed his suitcase as the doorbell rang as came to answer it as it was Sonic at the front door, "Hey little bro, you ready?", Sonic asked as Tails nodded, "I'm all ready to go Sonic", Tails replied as Sonic smiled, "Well then let's be on our way, we got a plane to catch", Sonic said as they both headed to the airport in Sation Square to head to their vacation spot.

A couple of hours had passed as the two brothers are in an jet plane as they was in their flight to Spagonia, Sonic relaxed as he was watching an in-flight movie while Tails in the other hand, was taking a nap as he softly snored, Sonic then looked out the window and saw the clouds down below as they flew, "This is so amazing", Soic thought as he sighed happily, "I cannot believe Tails has done all this for me, for my birthday", Sonic thought as he then looked at his napping and softly snoring little brother as it made SOnic smile, "I'll be sure to make our vacation the best for the both of us", Sonic thought as he kept watching the movie, then after a few minutes, a speaker then rang to the passengers, "Attention passengers, we will be landing in Spagonia in less then an hour, please be sure you are buckled and be prepared for landing", Sonic then gently shook Tails to wake him up as Tails let out a snort and slowly woke up, "Huh, Soic, what's up?", Tails sleepily asked as he softly yawned, "Wake up little bro, we're almost there", Sonic said as Tails smiled as they was about to land to Spagonia.

After an hour, the two brothers then arrived to Spagonia as they had entered their hotel room for the whole week, "And here we are big brother", Tails said as they got in as Sonic was real surprised of how the hotel room looked, "Wow, Tails, this is amazing", Sonic said as Tails smiled, "I knew you'd like it Sonic, I didn't want to pass up a room with a great view of Spagonia", Tails said as Sonic smiled as he kept looknig around the room as Tails sat on their bed, "Man Tails, this is awesome, thanks little bro", Sonic said as he kept looking around, "Oh, don't thank me yet, we still have the whole week here", Tails said as he winked, "Well, it was still really nice of you to get us this really amazing room", Sonic said as Tails nodded, "Anything for the birthday boy", Tails said as Sonic chuckled, "Say, let's order room service and get us a pizza", Sonic said as Tails smiled, "Sounds good to me big brother", Tails said as he got on the phone and ordered room service for the two of them.

Later that night, Sonic was laying in bed while watching TV as he had his nightcap on with his shoes, socks and gloves off while Tails was in the bathroom, taking a bath to get freshened up, "Man, this bed is so comfy", Sonic thought as he watched TV, "Tails really outdid it this time", Sonic thought as he sighed happily, then after a bit, Tails came out of the bathroom as he was dressed in nightgown pajamas and was putting his nightcap on with also his shoes, socks and gloves off, "Feel better little bro?", Sonic asked as Tails nodded, "Much, an comfy", Tails replied as he got into bed with his big brother, "Tails, you really did outdone yourself this year", Sonic said as Tails smiled, "Oh, it's far from done big brother, we got a whole week to go through, and it'll be full of fun, relaxation and greatness", Tails said as Sonic smiled, "And it's better with my little bro by my side", Sonic said as he gently patted Tails back as that made Tails smile, afterwards they watched some TV together before bed, after several minutes, Sonic was still watching TV as his eyes was getting more and more heavy as he then let out a yawn, "I'm getting sleepy", Sonic thought as he stretched, "Well, come on little bro, let's get some sleep", Sonic said drowsily said as he heard no response, "Tails, are you...", Sonic was then interrupted by loud snoring from Tails as he had already fallen asleep as Sonic smiled and tucked him in, "Sleep well little bro, goodnight", Sonic drowsily whispered as he heard Tails yawn in his sleep, "Nighty night......big...brother.....", Tails mumbled in his sleep as he still snored loudly as Sonic smiled as he then got nestled in bed then slowly fell fast asleep as he snored loudly with Tails as their vacation had just begun.
